CARE’s programming is to work towards enhancing smallholder farmers’ capacities to adopt best farming practices.
Farmers lack awareness on best farming practices. CARE projects play an instrumental role in building the capacities of smallholder farmers that increase their productivity and control losses.
Our Children’s Wheat project has succeeded in providing 172 farmers with technical trainings on growing maize crops, 33 women community leaders were trained on proper nutrition and combating obesity and 2039 farmers attended technical trainings on growing wheat crops.
