Nehal studied Political Science and Economics at Cairo University and graduated on 1975. She joined the World Bank office in Cairo on 1994, when Nehal started her work in the field of International Development, External Affairs and information.
She has a diversified and extensive experience in the field of development which includes operations, information, media relations, Academic and Civil Society relations and development communication.
She established solid channels of communication with different civil society institutions, as well as successful partnerships and networks with other local and international development partners.
Her work experience included working assignments in Washington, Morocco, Kuwait, Yemen and Djibouti along her years of service in the Bank.
She is an eloquent public speaker and a knowledgeable presenter in the field of development with a global vision and strategic view.
On 2016, she retired from the World Bank to dedicate more time for voluntary work and consultancy services in the field of development communication.
Since that date, she worked on several development related programs and assignments in governmental institutions, Non-Governmental organizations and international development agencies.
