Illustrative Deliverables:

Develop a global evidence-based GBViE strategy/workplan informed by CARE International’s advocacy roadmap and global positions, reach and impact data and key sector opportunities and challenges in support of the Global GBViE Coordinator networking with key governmental and interagency stakeholders at international level (including at the Global GBV AoR and the Call to Action for the Protection from GBViE) and monitor the workplan implementation
Monitoring the CARE global data and conducting the necessary analysis / gathering evidence to inform CARE’s advocacy on and about GBViE
Writing / regularly updating CARE’s advocacy messages and position papers on and about GBViE (tailored for various GBViE types/forms, audiences, events and purposes)
Coordinating advocacy with CARE colleagues and CARE members inside CARE and with relevant NGO colleagues and networks
Supporting with the external engagement of UN member states, donors, UN agencies and other actors in the global GBViE sector including reporting and representation at key interagency platforms (including the global GBV AoR and the Call to Action)
Strengthening capacity of CARE staff and partners through trainings, webinars and other relevant knowledge products

تسعي مؤسسة كير مصر للتنمية من خلال تنفيذ انشطة برنامج افاق بالتعاون مع منظمة يونيسف مصر الي بناء قدرات مجموعة من الميسرين والمتطوعين حول كيفية تنفيذ جلسة توعية لمدة 3-4 ساعات لمجموعات من الاطفال ذات فئات عمرية مختلفة وذلك بهدف التوعية بمنهجية STEM والتي تركز على التكامل بين أربعة مجالات رئيسية وهي: العلوم Science، والتكنولوجيا Technology، والهندسة Engineering، والرياضيات Mathematics.

Summary of Ending Violence against Women’s and Girls in Egypt (EVAWG)

CARE Egypt Foundation for Development is starting an new project Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) is a groundbreaking program to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Egypt with a specific focus on Child, Early, and Forced Marriage (CEFM), Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), and Seasonal Marriage.

Working in an anticipated 12 communities across Behera, Dakahlia, Sharkia, Assuit, Sohag, and Fayoum, anticipated results include reaching 175,000 direct beneficiaries (and up to 15 million with media outreach) and 1 million indirect beneficiaries.

مشروع المياه حياة هو مشروع ممول من شركة بيبسيكو وذلك بهدف تحويل 45 فدان من الري بالغمر إلى ري حديث أجل الحفاظ على وتوفير مياه يبلغ 400 مليون لتر سنويًا. مما سيساعد على زيادة الخزان الطبيعي للمياه الجوفية. سيتم التنفيذ على مرحلتين، المرحلة الأولى بمساحة 25 فدانًا نهاية عام 2023، وسيتم تنفيذ الـ 20 فدانًا الأخرى مطلع عام 2024. كما سيقوم مشروع المياه حياة ببناء قدرات 45 مزارعا حول أساليب الحفاظ على المياه. والعمل على تمكين المزارعون من الوصول إلى تقنيات الزراعة الفعالة، وزيادة الإنتاجية للفدان الواحد. بالإضافة إلى استخدام تقنيات الزراعة الذكية بما في ذلك أجهزة استشعار الرطوبة الأرضية، وقياس الملوحة الناتجة عن أنظمة الري الحديثة

مشروع طور وغير

هو مبادرة أطلقتها شركة مايكروسوفت مصر بالتعاون مع وزارة الشباب الرياضة منذ 2012 وأنضمت لها وزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات في 2015 وتقوم مؤسسة كير مصر للتنمية بتنفيذه من خلال الشراكة مع شركة مايكروسوفت مصر منذ يوليو 2019 علماً بأن التوسع في المشروع سيستمر حتي 30 يونيو 2024 للمساهمة في حل مشكلات البطالة والأمية الرقمية للشباب المصري، وذلك من خلال توفير نظام متكامل يجمع بين التدريب والتأهيل وبناء القدرات والتوظيف. يهدف مشروع “طور وغير” إلى العمل على سد الفجوة بين احتياجات سوق العمل وقدرات الشباب من خلال بناء قدرات أكثر من 5 مليون من الشباب وتنمية مهاراتهم التكنولوجية والرقمية وفقا لمتطلبات الثورة التكنولوجية كما يتم تقديم الاستشارات المهنية وخدمات التدريب إلى جانب تشجيع ريادة الأعمال وتبني الأفكار الابتكارية .
